SEHA returns to Ljubuski with Celje
SEHA se s Celjem vraća u Ljubuški
After a few years SEHA Gazprom league returns to Ljubuski. Izvidac's last SEHA game was back in March of 2013 against Borac and last victory was the one against NEXE from November 2012.
Champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will host Slovenian Celje PL in their first home match of the season. Team from Celje is arriving in good mood, with two away victories against Gorenje and Tatran and on the other side this will be Izvidac's second encounter of the season. In the first round they were beaten by Meshkov in Brest.
Zdenko Grbavac, Izvidac CO's coach:
I believe we have as a club entered a competition of a whole new level of handall. SEHA is one of the strongest leagues in the world and we've done everything we could to prepare for it. We have lost with 11 goal difference in Brest in the first round but we still have optimism. We're playing good, modern handball and I expect a good match against Celje. We all know they are one of the best teams in the region, mombers of Champions League. However, we see our chance in the fact that we are hosts in this one.
Ivan Milicevic, Izvidac CO's player:
I believe we'll have our chances against Celje which surely is a F4 candidate. Our chance will be our fighting spirit and fans which will hopefully boost us with additional motivation and strenght. There are no injured players and we can't wait for the game.
Branko Tamse, Celje PL's coach:
We have to keep it real because the tempo is furious and Izvidac will be fully motivated, I do not doubt that. I can say I'm satisfied with our performances in the competition so far, I believed we'll be able to reach two victories after opening loss against Veszprem. Now we have to make it count because we will already on Saturday host Vardar.
Tilen Kodrin, Celje PL's player:
We're entering each match with a goal of victory and performing better than in previous one. That will surely help us in preparation for derbies against Vardar and Zagreb which are not far ahead of us.
