Monday was in France reserved for placement matches on President's Cup in Brest. Bahrain have managed to avoid the bottom with a 32:26 win over Angola. Chile will finish the competition on 21st position after a clear 35:29 win over Japan. Tunisians have managed to dominantly beat Saudi Arabia with 39:30 and in the most interesting match of the day Poles have managed to edge Argentines 24:22 securing 17th position on WCh in France.

SEHA Gazprom League can be proud of three of its teams still being actively in the battle for a place in semi-finals in Paris - Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia. Hungarians will open the day with a clash against Norway in Albertville, Croatia will in Montpellier face Spain and Slovenia will look to book a SF place against Qatar in Paris.
