With a new coach and more experienced internationals, the team of Vardar Skopje this season, is among the biggest favorites to win the trophy in SEHA League.

What all claim, that Macedonian champion is one of the biggest favorites, players will have to confirm on the ground, through the 18 rounds, and then to Final Four tournament. Preparations for the new season of "red - black" were variable results.
On tournament in Struga won third place, winner in Belarus, and fourth of the tournament in Strasbourg . The aim of coach Zoran Kastratović is to raise form the first round of the Champions League , but SEHA League is equally important.
In the first two editions of the SEHA league Vardar played twice in the finals of the Final Four. The first season go as an outsider in Zagreb and returned as the winner, and in April this year in front of home crowd in Skopje, team lost in the final from Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb.
Besides the departure of coach Veselin Vujovic which after three seasons back title in club, ending the dominance of city rival Metalurg , the team left also Vuk Lazovic, Vukasin Rajkovic , Nikola Markoski, Milorad Kukoski and Goce Ojleski .
New signings are Zoran Kastratović (coach) and players: Mikhail Chipurin - line player, Alexey Rastvortsev - left back, Timur Dibirov - left wing, all from Russian champion Chehovski Medvedi, Serbian Alen Toskic - line player (Celje Pivovarna), Stefan Terzic - right back (HSV Hamburg), Spanish Alex Dujshebaev - right back (Atletiko Madrid) and Sloveninan Matijaz Brumen - right wing (Cimos Koper).
