SEHA – Gazprom League supports children’s home in Skopje
A delegation of the SEHA – Gazprom League and the four clubs, participating in the SEHA – Gazprom League Final 4 this weekend in Skopje visited a children’s home in the Macedonian capital on Friday. As part of the SEHA – Gazprom League charity programme, they donated four water heater and a TV to the home of orphans, J.U. Detski dom 11 Oktomovri.
During a guide tour the PR managers of Vardar, Meshkov Brest, PPD Zagreb and Celje PL could see, how the kids live and grow. As they found out that the children are big handball fans, they also gave them free tickets for the semi-finals on Friday.
“It is a good and valuable tradition of the SEHA – Gazprom League to include a charity donation in every Final 4 tournament. We do not want to bring only handball to the hosting city, but leave a long-lasting legacy for the future apart from sport. We will continue with those charity actions and even think about extending them, not to have them only at the Final 4 tournaments,” said Simona Margetic, head of media of the SEHA – Gazprom League after the visit.
