NEXE want to continue winning streak against Vojvodina
On Saturday 28th of september NEXE will play his third match in a row in Gradski vrt hall. After victory against Tatran Presov and Borac, team from Nasice want to continue winning streak and after match against Vojvodina from Novi Sad. The match will start in 7 PM, usual term for NEXE in Osijek. Croatian vice champion and Serbian champion were playing match during summer tests. So both teams know its rivals very well.
-Every opponent in SEHA leaque are story in itself. Vojvodina has a very good team. They played qualification for Champions leaque, so I quess that they have very large ambition in SEHA Gazprom South Stream league, said Zdenko Kordi NEXE's head coach.
NEXE's left wing Mijo Tomić believes that they will close that micro cycle with another victory.
-We played against Vojvodina. We know all their quality and faults. If we will play like two games before we will win. Of course we hope that atmosphere will be great, just like during match against Tatran, Tomic said.
Vojovodina will come in Osijek after one victory and two defeats. In the third round Tatran beat Serbian champion. But Vojvodina coach Momir Rnic and "Vosha boys" will not come in Osijek with "withe flag".
- We are expecting very tough match against very good team. NEXE proved their quality by defeating Tatran Presov.Both teams know each other very well so there will be no surprises, We must play on the higher level then previous games in deffence and in offence and with maximum effort we can hope for the positive result,they are big favourite in the upcoming match but we will do are best and try to make a surprise and win, said legendary former olympic champion.
Player Milan Mirkovic befor match in Osijek said:
- After two losses against Meshkov and Tatran we will try to win in Osijek. It will be very hard because NEXE plays very good handball.We played aginst them friendly match in Novi Sad and won,but now everything is different fiendly matches are not the same as league.We are motivated we trained hard this week and we will give our maximum on Saturday and hope that will be enough to win, Mirkovic said.
