CO Zagreb after CL loss against Partizan in Sutinska Vrela
As a part of 4th round of
SEHA GSS league, CO Zagreb will on Sunday host Partizan in Sutinska Vrela hall.
This will be a very important match for both teams. Zagreb surely wants to win
the match and get back into the 'winning atmosphere' after CL loss in Ukraine
and Partizan's intentions are to try to surprise Croatian champion and of
course to get in a better position in the league.
Coach Dvoršek is not very happy with Zagreb's schedule: ''We' ve returned from Ukraine on Friday. Players are exhausted from the macth against Motor and long journey, this will be a very hard match for us. We'll give some of our players rest aainst Partizan, especially to Marić who has played two strong games last week. Our young pivots Čorić and Šušnja will get chance and I hope they will use it well. I really hope that people will come to Sutinska Vrela to cheer us up and to lead us to new win in SEHA league.''
Lovro Šprem agrees with coach Dvoršek about hard schedule but is sure that all players will do their best to win the match: ''Players who get chance to play have to play at their best level to win. Team is a little exhausted but that shouldn't be an excuse. We have to be fully concentrated and I hope it will bring us win, of course in front of many supporters in Sutinska Vrela.''
Partizan's coach believes that in a match on Sunday everything is possible: "Last-week's win over Lovćen was great satisfaction and very motivational for us to keep performing better. Zagreb has been one of the top European handball clubs for years and it is a great honor for us to compete against them. What’s more, we will definitely learn a lot from this game. Our team has very young players, now that Mihailović has moved to Qatar, so some other younger players will have a chance in the upcoming matches," said Aleksandar Brković.
Milos Kostadinović, Partizan's right back, is also very optimistic about the game: "It is a boost of confidence when this young a team earns early points, that means a lot to us. Zagreb is definitely big favorite in this game, but we will not surrender, and as every game, we will play this one to outplay and to win."
