Croatian vice champion Nexe remain unbeaten in Skopje more than one year after 24-24 draw versus Metalurg in 5th round in SEHA GSS league. Even Macedonian team was clear favorite before the game, and have perfect opening with 9-1 lead, allow to guest team to back in game and to make uncertain finish.

When Zdenko Kordi, guest coach ask for time out in 8 minute after 7-1 lead for Metalurg, and home team continue to realize every chance they get, many fans in hall believes this could be just "strong practice" for their idols. Instead of that, Nexe start to play aggressive in defense, patiently in attack, and slowly to reduce the difference. Goalkeeper Perica Lelic manages to save 10 ball including three penalties (by Vugrinec, Dimovski and Atman). Seven goals advantage (11-4) in 16 minutes reduces to just three at the halftime. Franjo Lelic miss penalty in last 30 second in first halftime.

- Our rival show great character, fight until the last seconds and deserved one point. We start well, but then fell our concentration allow to Nexe to back in game and to get confidence. That's reason for reversal.

It's not good when you start to think for championship after one victory, or to stop play when have high advantage in the beginning of the game. I'll put a lot of critic for my players, especially those with more experiences, like Naumce Mojsovski and Renato Vugrinec. I have to put more youngsters, but "older" take their places, and continue to play irresponsible and selfish. Some player show real potential like Rade Mijatovic, said Lino Cervar, coach od Metalurg.

Five minutes play in second half bring first tie (14-14). Nexe start play much better, but Metalurg goalkeeper Rade Mijatovic "wake up" and have five saves in five minutes including penalty by Franjo Lelic.

- Nexe show good example how teams have to play and fight during 60 minutes. My players help me many times in defense. We had good period and some downs, said Rade Mijatovic.

Metalurg once again detached, and lead 24-21 three minutes before the end. Again someone troughs "game over", but Nexe thought otherwise. Igor Vujov score, Perica Lelic save penalty by Renato Vugrinec and again there was uncertainty on the court.

- We took points from much quality team, and should be pleased. We knew that have to play 120 percent if like to be on equal lever with Metalurg. I hope this game will help Metalurg on positive way for next matches in EHF Champions league, said Zdenko Kordi, Nexe's coach.

Marin Sakic, line player at the end was Nexe's heroe. He scores last two goals. Metalurg have 30 second to realize shot for victory, and put extra player as replacement for goalkeeper but failed to shot.

- We're impressed from rival, hall and home supporters. But continue to play much relaxed and just to carry out the orders of coach. Maybe have some luck, but very happy for this point, said Marin Sakic

Nexe stay in Skopje, and in Tuesday will play versus Vardar.
