Tatran has today taken the top position in SEHA GSS league. They won the match against Lovćen and made the win against Vardar in Skopje even more important.

 

First half was held in egal due to great performance from the team from Cetinje and not so good by home-team's goalkeeper. It seemed like the surprise is about to happen because the only player on higher niveau was Dainis Kristopans which surely wasn't enough. In the end of the first half Lovćen had plus 4 after a few great goals by Vukičević and Popović.

But then Tatran woke up, Krupa made some important saves, Antl turned into the higher speed and after 10 minutes in the second half Tatran caught an equaliser at 20:20. After that they were able to hold the lead and enlarge the goal gap until the final 32:29.

Radoslav Antl scored 12, Kristopans 8 for Tatran and Popović was guest-team's best scorer with 10 goals.

After the match Lovćen's coach has congratulated Tatran on a great match: ''It was a good game. We did maximum what we could have done. It is a pity we couldn’t do more and our good performance did not last all the way to the end. We were so close to one point.''
  

Tatran's coach Peter Hatalcik was satisfied with the win in the end: ''We knew it wouldn’t be an easy game. Both the good Defense of Lovcene and great performance of the goalkeeper made it really hard to outperform this team. In the second half of the match we have made a 4 goal difference in our favor. Lovcen is a very good team and we had a problem to get all points in this match. We played a third game in a row in short time so we are glad with the outcome of this match.''
