Montenegrian champion HC Lovcen celebrated their third win this season against HC Partizan 31:28 (16:15). Team coached by Zoran Abramovic has won the tight match against young Serbian team which didn’t give up until the last minute of the clash. Lovcen has opened the game very good with 5:0 after five minutes. Five minutes later result was 8:2 for home team led by Vukicević and Markovic, but guests from Belgrade had different plans for tonight. With 4:0 series, Aleksandar Brkovic’s team got back to the game (11:10). Since that moment fans in Cetinje’s hall have seen great battle until the last moment.

Serbian champion couldn’t make advantage in Cetinje, but Maticic, Kostadinovic and other young ‘guns’ came close three times - 20:20, 23:23, 26:26. Last tie was in 52. minute, when the most experienced player of Lovcen, left wing Igor Markovic scored three goals in a row and broke the resistance of the rival…

Markovic was the top scorer with 10 goals for his team, while Maticic and Ilic scored 7 for Partizan..

- Lovcen absolutely deserved to win. We didn’t manage to keep the rhytm in the last fie minutes. We haven’t enough players in rotation. That is something we can’t change, but I am satisfied with my team’s effort - said after the match Partizan’s coach Aleksandar Brkovic.

Partizan’s goalkeeper Radivoje Ristanovic knows difficult it is to win points in Cetinje, as he played for Lovcen for four years:

- I knew that it is tough to win here. I think that we lost the match in the first 10 minutes of the match, when we had -6. We will give our best in the last round and then prepare for the spring and domestic league.

-  This was the game we’ve expected, great until the end. Partizan is for few years playing in EHF’s CL, fast handball and we had to do everythinjg to stop them and prepare for everything. Supporters were also great today.

- We have managed to surprise Partizan in the beginning and make the difference. Our experience has helped us to secure the result until the end.
