One of the top teams in SEHA GSS league, Slovak Tatran has showed another good performances reaching EHF Cup's Last 16 confirming their strength and good placement in the regional league. After Slovak team failed to qualify for EHF's Champions League group phase, they have "thrown everything" on EHF Cup and SEHA GSS league and it seems to be working great so far.

They are by that the only team from SEHA GSS league which has celebrated after this week's European matches beating Slovenian Maribor. Metalurg managed to win a point but the fact that they were playing Wacker Thun says that they were not totaly satisfied with a draw. Nexe failed to stay among Last 16 in EHF Cup after away goal rule in a match versus Ademar leon and Meshkov Brest was on the other side strong rival for Füchse Berlin, but Germans managed to celebrate twice. Two SEGA GSS champions, Vardar and Zagreb lost their duels in EHF Champions League. Macedonian champion was for 45 minutes strong rival for Barcelona and Zagreb was simply not good enough for Celje.

Thursday is reserved for EHF Cup's draw. Tatran Presov will be in Pot 2, together with Skjern, Constanta and Ademar Leon

EHF Champions League representatives, Vardar, Metalurg and Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb will wait last three rounds after New Years, and have to push more if they want to continue to Last 16.

Last year's quarter-finalist Metalurg  needs just one point to secure place in the next round, or to wait for Vardar's win against Dynamo Minsk in the eight round.
The other Macedonian representative, Vardar, need victory against Dynamo Minsk with two or more goals, or two victories (Dynamo and Wacker) to complete Macedonian duo in EHF CL's Last 16.
CO Zagreb's chances are also still alive with two more home matches (Motor and St. Petersburg) and one away (Veszprem).

After two hard duels against German Füchse Berlin, Meshkov Brest is turning to SEHA GSS league. They have managed to play two great matches against Bundesliga giant but Füchse was better when it was important and has with his experienced players won this duel.
Vojvodina has entered the game versus Skjern without illusions. Serbian champion is not in form they wanted to be. Two wins for the Danish side against Serbian champion.
NEXE has also failed to get in the Last 16 for, as it appeared in the end, only one goal. Young team from Nasice has showed another good game with Igor Vujic scoring 11 goals, but result, 33-28 in favor of Ademar was crucial. Same, five-goal difference, was in the first game in Croatia, but then Ademar's players scored 29 goal.
