RECAP EHF CL Round 10: Motor victorious in Nantes
EHF Champions League Round 10, in which we've seen two of our SEHA Gazprom League representatives out there, is now behind us which means it's time for our weekly EHF Champions League recap!
(Group A) Szeged – Meshkov Brest 30:27
Meshkov were on Wednesday evening defeated 30:27 in Hungary in a match in which the deal had been sealed after opening 30 minutes in which hosts already managed to open the gap to five goals (18:13). Bence Banhidi was absolutely unstoppable putting on an offensive clinic with 12 goals! Marko Panic on the other side netted seven for guests while Simon Razgor and Alexander Shkurinsky added four each. Coach Alonso and his guys are currently third in group A. In the next round they will welcome group leaders – Polish Vive Kielce.
(Group B) Nantes – Motor Zaporozhye 31:32
Motor Zaporozhye have managed to make yet another huge step towards booking a place for themselves in the Last 16 round reaching a tough away win in France versus Nantes. Viacheslau Bokan scored seven, Artem Kozakevych added five in a win which put Ukrainians on fourth position in group B with eight points. In the next round coach Savukynas and his guys will welcome German Kiel.
