Meshkov Brest have managed to prolong their dominance in Belarus winning their eighth championship title in a row (thirteenth overall). Once again, they've secured 24 victories from just as much attempts finishing the season with an incredible +294 goal difference while at the same time having the best defense in the league and being the only team to score over 900 goals. Pure dominance.
They've managed to score 40 or more 11 times mostly winning by double-digit goal difference. The result doesn't come as a surprise, especially after their great Champions League run where they've managed to reach the eighth-finals after finishing the group stage with 15 points and seven victories in what will be Raul Alonso's last season as a head coach of the team from Brest.
Meshkov will have a chance to secure the double crown on May 29 meeting Gomel in Belarus Cup final. Apart from that, they are still waiting to find out the name of their SEHA – Gazprom League quarter-finals opponents standing in their way for a new Final4 appearance and a chance to finally reach the SEHA trophy.
