Handball season in SEHA GSS league and in Macedonia has started with great derby between Metalurg - Vardar at the beginning of September, and same rivals will on Tuesday (17,45 "Boris Trajkovski") face each other in another regional league challenge.


For both teams this match would bring some progress. New points for Vardarwould probably mean a step closer to Final Four and on the other hand team from Avtokomanda needs points to stay in race for the final tournament. After latefailure against Zagreb in Skopje, Macedonian team chose hardest way to F4 tournament, and has to prove what they really can against their strongest city rival. Vardar has just one injury problem with Filip Lazarov having problems with stomach but expects other players to be on their highest level.
Mite Stoilov and Miladin Kozlina will probably have a special role in the defense, and depending on the development of the situation could have chance to score some goals in attack.
Metalurg will not calculate, and will play with the strongest squad, just like the previous matches against Zagreb.
This season teams have met three times, one SEHA league clash (draw) and two in EHF Champions League (one win each).

- Our next match, will be the last one in a pretty busy season for us. The match that comes before the European Championship, but we are always motivated. In fact, playing against our biggest Macedonian opponent is the biggest possible motivation. We will do everything that we can, to finish this successful year with a win, which could be decisive for securing the spot for the Final Four tournament. On the other hand, we also know that Metalurg will play different game than last Saturday, when they faced Zagreb. They will give their best to win, but it is up to us, to stop them, especially in front of our crowd. I believe that one player, or one goalkeeper can be the key factor for a win, but team spirit is always needed in order to achieve good result. We have some injuries because of Rastvortsev's surgery, Lazarov's prepareness but we will try with Mite Stoilov and Kozlinawho were back against Meshkov,

 
Nemanja Pribak, Vardar's player :
- We play our 4th game against Metalurg in last four months. Those games are always special. We respect them as a very good team, which has their own playing style. For example, we play fast and more attractive handball, but they play much slower. Their main players are Mojsoski, Mirkulovski, Vugrinec and Atman, and we have to try to stop them, and also take care of their goalkeeper Stanic. We must play good defense, and do everything to finish this season with a win, in front of our supporters. Also, I would like to mention that I love this club, and also the supporters of Vardar, which are special. When I play here it is something amazing and who knows, now that I have their passport maybe it will even be better. 
 
Lino Cervar, Metalurg's coach:

- We are having a really hard schedule lately but we are very motivated for this match.The fact that we are in a rhythm, and playing some matches can be an advantage, and the opponent on the other side has time to rest.
 


Naumce Mojsovski, Metalurg's player: 

- We chose the hard road to the Final four tournament. We lost some points against weaker teams, so now it will be tough. SEHA GSS league now becomes our priority and we will do our best to win. The motivation for the EHF Champions League and regional league is different, but when you play games like this there is always a extra motivation.
