Groups for the EHFCL season 2022/23 revealed
The upcoming EHF Champions League season will be the 30th anniversary and there are only two months left until the throw off of the men's EHFCL competition on Wednesday 14 September 2022. The EHF FINAL4 is scheduled for 17/18 June 2023 at the LANXESS arena in Cologne, Germany.
The playing system is the same as in the past two seasons. Teams are divided into two gorups of eight, with the top-six ranked teams qualifying for the knockout phase. Both the group winners and runners-up from each group will be heading directly into the quarter-finals, and the teams ranked third through sixth will advance to the play-offs.
Two SEHA teams, Telekom Veszprem and PPD Zagreb are both situated in Group A.
