Metalurg expects a confident win against Borac
Металург очекува само лесен тренинг против Борац

Game will be played as scheduled although guest team did not have a common training for almost two months due to unpaid salaries, and will come weakened without Srdjan Trivundza who went to Dubai.
Macedonian team is an absolute favorite. They already have already had a successful test against Hungarian MKB Veszprem which was defeated in Skopje, and is now expected to continue their good performances raising form in next matches. Metalurg in February has to play three games in SEHA GSS League, plus three in EHF's Champions League.
Metalurg has problems with injuries.Atman and Jonoski are still left with a question mark near their names for this match. For Macedonian vice-champion this is the last chance for improvement before crucial matches in EHF Champions League. Next week team will travel to Paris and will then play two matches in Belarus, versus Dinamo Minsk and BrestMeshkov.
Lino Cervar, coach of Metalurg
- We have same problems like last year. After EURO many players have returned with injures. Worst news for us is Atman's hamstring injury on his right hand. Jonoski has the same problem and Markovski got a bad stroke in his chest on EURO in Denmark.
Igor Mandic , Metalurg's player
- For us this is the first official match in 2014, after the friendly game with MKB Veszprem, which by the way was a great match. This is something else, Borac is a completely different team. We do not know what the team will come up, in fact we ourselves do not know our final composition because of many injured players.
Jani Cop, Borac's coach
- From match in Skopje I have no great expectations. Most important is my players to stay healthy. In this situation in club important thing is that team stays together. I believe it will be a good match for us.
Branislav Obradovic, Borac's player
- We have a huge respect for Macedonian clubs and by that we are in problems with unpaid salaries. We wouldn't like to make more problems for the club and risk for the club to be fined. We haven't trained together for a long period and that's why I have no big expectations from this match.
