Victory is Meshkov's only option
If Meshkov wants to reach their goal and play on SEHA GSS league's Final 4 tournament in April, they have to catch good form. First step for them will be the match against Lovcenon Saturday in which they have to prepare for crucial matches against Metalurg and CO Zagreb.
Coach Zeljko Babic now has more players available in rotation with two new players in Belarus team, pivot Rastko Stojkovic and right back Dejan Malinovic. Bad thing is that Vyacheslav Shumak and Nerijus Atajevas are still on injury list. Out of roster for tomorrow's game, due to small injury problems are also Ivan Karacic and David Milicevic.
In their first SEHA GSS league's match in 2014 Meshkov managed to beat Vojvodina with 32:23 showing their ambition to reach TOP 4.
By that they were in domestic championship better than Victoria Regia with 40:19.
On the other side, Montenegrin champion has some problems. For a long time club is looking for new managing board. Bogdan Nikolic has not trained with the team for a week because of the cold, captain Igor Markovic did not train at all after the EURO 2014 due to injury. Few younger players will travel to the Mediterranean games with cadet national team of Montenegro. The question is too if Lukasz Archruk who is able to play will participate due to problems with reaching visa for Belarus.
