The current leader of Pro D2 division in France, U.S. Créteil is close to signing Belaurs goalkeeper Vitali Charapenka of Meshkov Brest with a two-year contract. 

After nine years in Brest, Charapenka (30) could change "club colors". Meshkov is currently positioned fifth in SEHA GSS league with a chance to secure a place on F4 tournament, and to play for the title. Meshkov was eliminated from EHF's Cup from Füchse Berlin, and the team now has only two goals, SEHA GSS league and domestic championship where their main rival for the title is Dinamo Minsk.

Charapenka has over 50 caps for Belarus national team and has participated on the last EHF's EURO 2014 in Denmark finishing on 12th position.
