Meshkov to the final after thriller ending against Tatran
In their second season in SEHA Gazprom South Stream league, Belarus team Meshkov will, for the first time play in the final match. Team from Brest has managed to celebrate in the second semi-final against Tatran from Slovakia after penalties (31:30). After 60 minutes result was 26:26. First half was very interesting, in a very fast rhytm and with lots of goals. Tatran has for the first time managed to enlarge the goal gap to +2 in 26th minute with 14:12. Few seconds before the break Verkic has managed to make a save, assisting Antl for the last first-half goal.
At the beginning of the second part Meshkov scored two goals. It was the best announcement for dramatic finish. In the last five minutes after Tatran's time out neither team had an advantage. Before the end of the regular time Kristopans scored for Tatran, and on the other side Babichev scored for Meshkov which meant another excitement for spectators in SPENS hall- seven meter shoot-out. During a series of first five shots Meshkov goalkeeper Charapenka saved Urban and Hrstka's attempts. On the other side Tatran's Verkic saved Rutenka's shot, and before that Baranov hit the post . Key were third shots in the second series when Kamyshyk scored for Meshkov and Pesic saved Urban's shot for a big celebration for Belarus team.

- Firstly, I'd like to congratulate Meshkov on a good match and a win. Secondly, we're of course disappointed by the outcome, we've wished to win this match, we've prepared for it really good. I'm really proud of my guys, I believe we've played really good but we've lacked luck for anything more.
Zarko Pejovic, Tatran's middle back:
- We've had a bit more luck today and won the match. I don't remember such a good match in SEHA GSS League. We've played really well.
Zeljko Babic, Meshkov's coach:
- Tatran has played a great match, they were in a few moments even a better team and I've felt that we might even lose the match. We've given our best until the end. I'm really proud of us.
