PPD Zagreb have managed to show why they were favorites in Banja Luka. In a really good match, Croatian champions were better than Borac.  Guests have from the beginning managed to set their tempo with outstanding defence. With remarkable Stevanović behind them they have from first minutes of the game managed to run the court and score easy goals. Josip Valčić was leading Zagreb's attack great and it was clear that Zagreb will again bring points home from Banja Luka. Borac were playing good today but were not able to reach points against oustanding guest which have traveled to Bosnia and Herzegovina without Horvat, Mandalinić, Vuglač and Obranović. Stevanović has 24 saves, Raković and Stepančić 6 goals each. Speaking of hosts Abadžić was great in the first half with two 7-meter saves and Janković was in the end their best scorer with 7 goals.

We've opened the match in a really bad way, missing way to many open shots. Our goal in the second half was to try to surprise guests but it was not possible today. Really an emotional match for me coaching the team against Zagreb's coach Vujović who was my former coach and my father's teammate.

Zagreb are playing much better with their new coach Vujović, that is clear. Stevanović was great saving all important shots of the match.

I have to say I'm more pleased with the result but with the performance. We've created the difference thanks to our outstanding goalkeeper although my wishes were not of that kind for this match. Rađenović has, I have to say, suprsied me abit with 4-2 defence and this was one of the matches which proves how good and important for its participants this League is.

We can surely play better. There were some good moments too, but we have to work on things which were not so good today. We are playing better and better, this is an important win.

In the next round PPD Zagreb will host NEXE and Borac will only four days later play in Osijek, also against NEXE.
