Vojvodina and Tatran Prešov will on Saturday clash for the fourth time this season as a part of SEHA Gazprom League’s 17th round. Two rounds before the end of the season both clubs are close to securing position after the regular part of 2015/16 SEHA Gazprom League’s season with Borac Banja Luka securing position 7 and multiple Slovak champions looking to ensure fifth place.

It will be a match for prestige with Tatran winning their first encounter of the season in SEHA Gazprom League and with both teams winning on road in EHF Champions League.

Nikola Marković, Vojvodina’ coach:

We’ve already played Tatran three times this season with Tatran leading 2:1 in total. We’ve managed to beat them in Prešov but after that they were able to take revenge in Novi Sad. And we’ve also lost with -11 on road in SEHA Gazprom League. I would be happy with a victory and we have a reason to believe in our success. We’re full of self-confidence after the last round victory over Borac in Banja Luka.

Luka Arsenić, Vojvodina’ goalkeeper:

We were training well in last few weeks. We’re familiar with Tatran’ style because we’ve already played them a few times this season. I believe in my team-mates and in our victory. I’d like to invite fans to come to our sports hall and enjoy this handball match.

Long term injuries and flu are factors we’re trying to fight against. Some players will return to the roster and some will remain sidelined. We’d like to continue with good performances from last few games. We’ve managed to reach a key victory in our domestic league against Topol’čany which has surely strengthened self-confidence of the team. We’d like to confirm our progress in Novi Sad.

On Thursday we’ve reached an important win in Slovak Extraleague in Topoľčany. We want to confirm this victory in SEHA League game in Novi Sad. We have to prepare seriously for the game, win it and secure 5th place in SEHA Gazprom league. It will not be easy, but we want to show our best performance and take this victory.
