Kielce beat Veszprem and book the ticket for EHF FINAL4
In the second leg quarter-final match, Barlinek Industria Kielce won against Telekom Veszprem. For the second year in a row and sixth time in their history, Kielce book its ticket for the EHF FINAL4 tournament in Cologne from 17 to 18 June.
After the first leg match that ended with a draw, the decisive match was played yesterday in Polish Kielce. Kielce showed amazing performance with Tomasz Gebala and Artsem Karalek in the main roles in the defance and Alex Dujshebaev and Szymon Sicko in the attack. Telekom Veszprem had no chance yesterday and missed another opportunity to lift the EHF FINAL4 trophy for the first time in their history.
When it comes to the Telekom Veszprem players, Nedim Remili scored seven goals, while Kentin Mahe added five. On the other hand, Alex Dujshebaev and Szymon Sicko from Kielce netted six times.
Therefore, all participants of the TruckScout EHF FINAL4 2023 have now been confirmed – SC Magdeburg, PSG, Barca and Barlinek Industria Kielce will play for the title in the famous Lanxess Arena in Cologne.
