In their last match in SEHA Gazprom League season 2015/2016 Vojvodina Novi Sad will clash against Croatian best team PPD Zagreb on Saturday, 18.00 CET. Serbian champions are in good form proving it in a clash against Sloga Požega in domestic Cup and a 31:30 victory. They will wait for big rivals who are preparing for CL’ eighth-final match against Rhein Neckar Löwen highly motivated.

Milan Jovanović will not be a part of Vojvodina’ roster due to an injury and on the other side multiple Croatian champions will miss experienced Tonči Valčić and Zlatko Horvat.

Nikola Marković, Vojvodina’ coach:

We are waiting for a team which will play in CL’ eighth-finals and fight for SEHA crown. We have an obligation to give our best in our final clash of the season and I expect a good match.  

Nikola Arsenić, Vojvodina’ playmaker:

Zagreb have a very young, talented team but we also have some good youngsters in our roster. Atmosphere in the team is good with the match against Zagreb being our last test before the start of domestic Play-Off.

Veselin Vujović, PPD Zagreb’ coach:

Vojvodina have in a few matches proved to be a very serious team playing in CL with some serious results. They will however be more motivated than us and potential lack of motivation worries me because I would like a victory in Novi Sad. In case Vardar lose in Brest we might finish second which is important for my young team. We will try to keep the winning atmosphere and extend the streak in order to wait for Löwen fully prepared and motivated.

Stefan Vujić, PPD Zagreb’ playmaker:

This is our last match in the regional competition before F4 in Varaždin. We are all tired, but we came to Novi Sad to take three points and go to F4 where we’ll do everything to surprise with a positive score. It would be nice to finish the season on second place because we’ve given a lot in this competition. We’re currently fighting on three battlefields with Croatian championship about to start soon. It would be nice to place ourselves right behind Veszprem in the end. We’ll miss Valčić in defense and Horvat in attack but besides them we’ll have full roster. We’re fully focused to win three points.
