Croatian champions PPD Zagreb have showed brilliant performance at the end of regular season in SEHA Gazprom league. From the very beginning Croatian team put game in their own rhytm, with lead 9:4 in 15th minute. Home team came closer on 8:10 with goals of playmaker Nikola Arsenić only five minutes later. Strong defense of away squad made the difference by producing many easy goals until the half time break - when Zagreb made +9 - 21:12.
PPD Zagreb have opened the second half with 14:4 series what was enough for answer on question about the winner. In 46th minute, Zagreb had 35:16. The Croatian team overtook second place behind Veszprem, where Ivić and team-mates can stay if Meshkov beat Vardar in the last match of the regular part of the season.

Veselin Vujović, PPD Zagreb coach:
We've achieved our goal. That was a good match because we are preparing to play in EHF Champions league. Our rival gave a chance to some young players so it wasn’t real situation in terms of our qualities. I wish a lot of luck to Vojvodina in Serbian league.
Nikola Marković, Vojvodina coach:
Zagreb is a team that has great ambitions. They have big qualities taking advantage of our mistakes. We tried the 3-2-1 defense to see how we can play against top fullbacks. We turn now to our championship.
Lovro Šprem, PPD Zagreb left wing:
We still have a chance to finish on the second place in SEHA League. We can be satisfied with our level of play in defense and in counter-attack.
Nikola Arsenić, Vojvodina playmaker:
We've played well just in first 20 minutes of the match. We've made a lot of mistakes in the second half. We are now starting to think about domestic competitions.
