Telekom Veszprem has managed to open the season well with 29:34 (12:15) victory. Premier was spectacular but Celje did not manage to surprise strong Hungarian team which was in lead throughout all 60 minutes even being 10 goals up in few moments. Celje has managed to come closer when it was all over in the end. Blaz Janc was best scorer for hosts with 7 goals and on the other side Renato Sulic and Momir Ilic have scored 6 goals each. Mikler was im good mood as well with 12 saves. Celje will in four days travel to Velenje and Veszprem will only three days later go to Skopje to face Vardar in League's biggest derby.

In first half both teams were not best in defense, both wanted to get three important points. Later we've improved and managed to score some fast break goals, especially in the second half which we've played really well. We have created big goal gap but Celje fought back and came to only four goals. This season SEHA league is really strong and it will be hard to reach F4. At the end I want to congratulate Celje and I would like to congratulate our and home fans for the great atmosphere and I wish Celje all the best.

First congratulations to Celje for celebrating 70 years of handball. I am proud to be a part of this amazing history and I wish Celje all the best. For all of us who have worn Celje's jersey playing here is something special. Today we've prepared really good and in beginning of second half played our best handball this season. Then with a big gap we've managed to bring match to a safe victory. Anyway Celje fought back and that should be a warning for our next matches.

First of all congratulations to Veszprem on a well deserved victory, Also congratulations to my club for such a great spectacle. Thanks also to the fans for great atmosphere. In first half we did not score from some good situations and the team like Veszprem knows how to punish that. In second half there were to many unforced errors on our side and Veszprem has managed to take the lead which we were not able to catch. Our defense was not strong enough and they've scored too many goals, but at the same time it is true that we had the strongest possible opponent on the other side.

At the end I think that this is realistic difference between teams. Congratulations to my club for great organization of 70th anniversary, and I am sorry that on the court we did not put the cherry on it. But anyway we 've showed, that we can play against a team like Veszprem. Unfortunately we made too many mistakes and that kind of team does punish that. At the end we showed great character, fought back and I can just congratulate to my team on that.
