Tatran and Meshkov facing-off after CL losses
The time has come for old rivals to meet after Champions League Round 1 losses. This will be their 13th SEHA encounter with the team from Belarus winning two out of last five of their matchups in Presov. Tatran is still waiting for the first home win of the season and Meshkov is on the other side racing for top spots which means they surely care grabbing points in Presov.
Rastislav Trtik, Tatran coach:
SEHA League encounter against Meshkov Brest is our 12th game in September. After time-consuming journey back from Montpellier we play against strong Belarusian champions. Despite of our players' fatigue I believe we will show our fans nice handball. I hope we will fight for the result until the end of the game.
Lukas Urban,Tatran player:
After a tough game in Champions League in Montpellier which we've played on Sunday, we will have to manage another demanding encounter against Meshkov Brest in a short time. The match will be played on our home court, so we want to show our fans quality performance.
Sergey Bebeshko, Meshkov coach:
We'll play in Presov right after a hard game against Kielce. Tatran has grown stronger comparing to previous seasons. They have even managed to secure a place for themselves in Champions League group stage which proves they play good at home. We'll have some roster changes for the match with Yaschanka replacing Shylovich and Charapenka jumping in instead of Mijatovic.
Simon Razgor, Meshkov player:
It's not easy to play in Presov. We are really focused on the game, no underestimation from our side. Our goal is SEHA Gazprom League Final Four, so we have to win every game.
