PPD Zagreb has in Sutinska vrela sports hall managed to reach new SEHA Gazprom victory. This time they were better than Tatran Presov celebrating a well-deserved 27:22 victory. However, in the first half it did not look like it will be a clear win for Zagreb in the end. After first 30 minutes guests were 13:14 up with Rabek, Hrstka and Cip leading their game scoring 5 goals each in the match.

However, in second half, Lions have managed to prove to be a better team. Defense was on a much higher level allowing Tatran to score only 8 goals in second 30 minutes with Zagreb’s best scorers of the season so far - Mandalinić and Horvat, waking up and combining for 14 goals in the end securing Zagreb a new, fifth victory of the season in SEHA Gazprom League. 

In their next appearances in SEHA Gazprom League Tatran will host Vardar and Zagreb will travel to Belarus to meet Meshkov.

Extremely tough match for us at this very moment. Our team is not playing on highest possible level lately and that was visible today. We've only had a day to prepare for Tatran which is a good team. In the end we've managed to deliver a good performance and win. 

Rastislav Trtik, Tatran coach:
We've played a good first half but in the second we did not manage to keep the high level as we've had only 13 players on disposal. Zagreb is a good team and on the other side we have lots of new players who still need time to adapt in order for everything to function well. We can be satisfied with the result.

Great match for us but in a quite tough moment. That's why I am happy about this win as we've managed to overcome bad period. In only few days we have a new match in Champions League so we already have to turn towards it.

Vadym Brazhnyk, Tatran player:
This was not the first time that we have the lead in first 30 minutes, play well and then lose it. Our bench is too short and some of our players are injured. We have to do everything to get better, perform well at home and gather some points.
