First challenge for Horvat as Tatran host NEXE
Prvá výzva pre Horvata, keď Tatran privíta NEXE
Both Tatran and NEXE cannot really say they are having the best season so far in SEHA Gazprom League. Slovak champions are only a point behind the team from Nasice on League’s table which makes this match a perfect opportunity for them to make a move in an upward direction on the table. Tatran are however also experiencing a tough schedule lately with calendar of SEHA League crossing up with CL’s and that is exactly where NEXE see their opportunity. Problems did not only pass by Slavonian ‘Thunder’ either with Hrvoje Horvat replacing Zdenko Kordi on their bench ahead of a tough away encounter. In their premier clash of the season Tatran have managed to grab a dominant 25:31 win in Nasice.
Rastislav
Trtik, Tatran coach:
We are disappointed after Champions League’s
loss to Metalurg in Skopje. We have to get over the fatigue and thoroughly
prepare for NEXE. It will be an important game which we need to win in order to
move up on League’s table. I believe players will deliver their best
performance on the court and succeed in the end.
Jakub
Hrstka, Tatran player:
It will be a very tough game. After our arrival
from Skopje we need to recover quickly and prepare for Nasice. They are an
experienced team. We have to remain focused for entire 60 minutes. I hope a lot
of fans will come to support us and help us reach three points.
Hrvoje
Horvat, NEXE coach:
Miracles happen but not quite often and that
sentence sums our expectations up. We’ll try to make things function better in
two days. Some things are really good and we’ll try to implement some new and
take this win.
Vedran
Zrnic, NEXE player:
We’ll surely be a different team. Presov are a
test for us to adopt new principles as soon as possible and I feel like
everything will get better in near future. They are competing on three
battlefields and I believe we have a chance to achieve a good result there.
