New NEXE coach Hrvoje Horvaf has managed to open his Nasice adventure with a win. Mislav Nenadic was on the right place in the right time scoring crucial equalizer to keep NEXE above Tatran on the table. Slovak champions were 19:16 up in the first, NEXE have managed to overtake the leas and go 25:28 up but they were not able to keep it until the end. Oliver Rabek was outstanding with 11 goals, Zrnic scored 6/6 for the team of Nasice.

Rastislav Trtik, Tatran coach:
In the first half we were dominant in the attack. Unfortunately, in the second half we've lost the contact with our tactics. We unnecessarily risked a lot, made a lot of technical mistakes enabling NEXE to score on the counter attacks. These individual mistakes cost us important points in the league. NEXE came back into the match and managed to turn the score around. Finally, we have to thank our hero, Igor Chupryna, for saving the game for us in the very end after having the series of brilliant saves. We have really tough program in different competitions. In December we are playing 10 games in 18 days. That is why we have to play with common sense and try to manage this huge pressure.  

Igor Chupryna, Tatran goalkeeper:
We wanted to win this game but we did not manage it. In the second half we made a lot of technical mistakes in the attack and allowed NEXE to score easy goals. We have a big number of matches in December, so we have to recover quickly in a physical and mental way and go further.  

Hrvoje Horvat, NEXE coach:
In the end we are satisfied with a draw. We have had only two training sessions together so far. The game was pretty interesting for the fans. My players tried to play what we did at these two trainings before the match. I could see a lot of good things that we trained. On the other side there are many things in our game we still have to improve.  

Gregor Lorger, NEXE goalkeeper:
As our coach said, we've had little time to prepare for the game. We tried to give our maximum into the game and in the end reached a good result because we've played better in the second half.
