Metalurg are at the moment ninth with 7 points and Tatran are right ahead with 10 which means that their encounter in Presov will be a derby of the bottom. Tatran are entering the match after the loss against Veszprem. Metalurg are in the similar situation as they from the last round have a loss against Celje. In their premier duel of the season in Skopje Metalurg managed to reach 27:21 win.

We'll play another tough game against Metalurg. It will be a match of defences once again. Defence will be the basis of success in this one. I hope we will stick with our tactics and delight our fans with victory.

Radovan Pekar, Tatran player:
It is important for us to get fit, to get over injuries and illnesses we're at the moment suffering from in order to have the highest number of players available for the game. We want to win. We have our CL encounter against them on our minds when we've managed to grab a win. I believe if we manage to repeat defensive performance from the first half against Veszprem, can rely on our goalkeeper and add creation in attack, we can be successful.

Lino Cervar, Metalurg coach:
We know Tatran well as this will be our fourth encounter of the season. Our biggest problem remains incomplete roster against an opponent which knows how to play good on home court. We'll however do everything to change that this time. 

Martin Velkovski, Metalurg player:
Tatran are a good team, dangerous on their own court. We've played a good first half here last time losing the pace in the second. Hopefuly, this time they won't play so good throughout the whole match.
