Metalurg' streak or second win for Izvidjac?
Serija Metalurga ili druga pobjeda Izviđača?
Izvidjac will in upcoming two weeks with matches against Metalurg, Gorenje and Vardar at home conclude their premier SEHA season. First of three opponents is Metalurg which is lately showing some good form with victories against PPD Zagreb and Gorenje. Izvidjac have so far managed to reach only one win and guys from Skopje are on the other side still actively fighting to reach the top spot of the lower part of the table. In their premier encounter of the season Lino Cervar and his boys reached a dominant 35:22 win at home.
Zdenko Grbavac, Izvidjac CO
coach:
Metalurg have with Lino Cervar started a positive streak and we still
remember the match in Skopje in the first part of the season which was one of
our toughest defeats so far. That gives us motive to take revenge for that loss
because I believe they are not that better than us that we couldn't play a
close match against them. They are at the moment in better rhythm than we are
considering the fact we've played our last match three weeks ago.
Mateo Rodin, Izvidjac CO
player:
David Mandic who is dealing with minor injury is still questionable for
this duel but I believe he'll be ready. Metalurg are a good team but, with help
of our fans, I'm sure we can win this.
Lino Cervar, Metalurg coach:
Match against Izvidjac is a chance for us to confirm good form we're in
recently. Despite of the table I'd like to highlight it won't be easy to beat
them especially away from home. They've already, even against stronger teams,
proved they are tough to beat.
Vanja Ilic, Metalurg player:
We're in a good series of results and there is no reason to stop now. We
have quality and we have to prove it on court. Izvidjac can be tough to beat in
front of their fans but our expectation is to grab points there.
