Vardar win premier edition of Macedonian Super Cup
Vardar have managed to win their fifth trophy of the season writing yet another page in history of Macedonian handball reaching Macedonian Super Cup title with a 30:25 (19:12) win over Rabotnik Bitola.
Reigning SEHA - Gazprom League champions dominated the match from the very beginning. Due to limitation of number of foreign player in domestic championship to a maximum of 10 in the roster, Vardar played without several standard players like Strahinja Milic, Luka Cindric, Igor Karacic and Vuko Borzan. Interesting is that this was Timur Dibirov' premier match with Macedonian citizenship he received a few days ago.
