Saracevic: "A bit weird match because on one side you want to win and on the other you're competing against a huge friend of yours"
PPD Zagreb - Tatran Presov 32:26 (17:10)
(Horvat 7, Ravnic 6 / Butorac 7, Kasal 4, Urban 4, Cip 4)
Zlatko Saracevic, PPD Zagreb coach:
A bit weird match because on one side you're here, you want to win and on the other you're competing against a huge friend of yours. After the first half we experienced some injury problems with both Bicanic and Vuglac which is not what we were counting on to happen of course but it is what it is. Important win with six-goal difference for us.
Valentino Ravnic, PPD Zagreb player:
We managed to accomplish all of our goals in this one - win and not only win but win by at least six goals. We entered the match well, enlarged the gap early and despite of minor downfalls during the second managed to finish the match in a good way and win.
Slavko Goluza, Tatran Presov coach:
We did not open the match in the right way. We missed some of our players but that's not an alibi. Zagreb played just as much as they needed to beat us today and we're aware of that. Recent injuries interfered with our training session schedule but I repeat despite of all that we were not on the required level and that's it. We must keep on working, keep on improving and focus on the match in Celje. I wish PPD Zagreb and my colleague all the best.
Bruno Butorac, Tatran Presov player:
Well-deserved win for Zagreb. Quite tough schedule is behind us and by that we're dealing with many injury problems. That's not an excuse of course, Zagreb was a better opponent in the biggest part of the match today and that's the whole truth.
