PPD Zagreb score 35 in an easy win against Vojvodina
PPD Zagreb were without a couple of players in the match against the Serbian champions Vojvodina, including Vuglac and Horvat. The Croatian champions also lost Zarko Markovic, as his contract expired, meaning they were without a true right back. It was a fast paced match right from the start, as both teams looked to score some easy goals. Damir Bicanic scored five out of first seven Zagreb's goals. On the other side, Jovanovic and Stankovic combined for 9 goals. The hosts established the lead in the midst of the first half and kept it until the break- 16:14.
Arena Varazdin had a chance to enjoy more goals in the second half, as PPD Zagreb’s youngsters were in action most of the time. Players like Tin Lucin, Josip Eres and Josip Bozic Pavletic got to enjoy more playing in this one, and contributed heavily to this win. This was the last match of 2017, for both teams. This was Zagreb’s eighth win of the season, and Vojvodina’s tenth defeat.
