Drasko Nenadic joins Celje PL
The Slovenian champions Celje PL have signed the Serbian international Drasko Nenadic. He joins the club from Bjerringbro-Slikeborg, but has previously also played in Serbia, Spain and Germany.
Nenadic is a former Crvena Zvezda player, and has later played for many different clubs. In Spain his teams were Granollers and Guadalajara, whilst in Germany Nenadic appeared for Flensburg, HSV Hamburg and Fuechse Berlin. The 28-year old Serbian became the European champion with Flensburg in 2014, and his latest club was Silkeborg in Denmark.
Nenadic is a 202 cm tall left back, capable of playing in both defense and offense. He signed a year contract with Celje Pivovarna Lasko, and is exactly the player they needed to replace Borut Mackovsek. Drasko's brother is Petar Nenadic, who recently signed for Telekom Veszprem. Speaking for the Celje PL website, the coach Branko Tamse expressed his happiness with the new signing, especially given the experience Nenadic has, and how this would help the young squad in the upcoming season.
