Cvitkovic grabs 15 saves as Tatran cruise past Izvidjac
Tatran Presov have on Wednesday evening managed to come out victorious at home against Izvidjac in the end securing a 29:22 win. This way Slavko Goluza and his players managed to level themselves with Meshkov in SEHA standings at least for now with Belarusians still having to play their Round 15 match in six days at home against Vojvodina.
Hosts managed to seal the deal as early as final ten minutes of the first opening the gap to four (10:6) with four goals in a row. Until the end of first 30 the gap was already six goals wide and it was obvious the encounter passed the point of no return for Mario Bjelis and his players already. Tatran kept on enlarging the gap in the second on wings of Dominik Krok and Jakub Hrstka as well as goalkeeper Mario Cvitkovic all the way to final 29:22.
Jakub Hrstka finished the match with six goals while Janus Lapajne and Dominik Krok scored four adding four assists each as well. Mario Cvitkovic had one of his best SEHA performances between posts grabbing 15 saves. Josip Cutura and Nikola Primorac on the other side netted five for guests.
