Another weekend brings us more action in EHF Champions League and EHF Cup. SEHA clubs in Champions League have very important matches ahead, while Nexe are in search of their third consecutive win to start the campaign in EHF Cup.

EHF Champions League:

After their loss to Telekom Veszprem in Skopje, Vardar find themselves in a tricky situation, as they don't hold the second position in Group A anymore. They will have a good chance for new points, with their trip to Sweden to meet Kristianstad, who are bottom of the very tough group. Vardar have been drawn with Kristianstad every year since the 15/16 season, and have a perfect record, winning all 7 matches against the Swedish champions. However, Vardar must not underestimate Kristianstad, as every point is crucial at the moment, with only two matches left.

Meshkov Brest have a match scheduled for Sunday, playing against the team they know very well, Telekom Veszprem. Hungarians are coming off a fantastic win versus Vardar in Skopje, and occupy the second place in Group A. Meshkov Brest also achieved a fantastic result, as they defeated RN Loewen in Brest. EHFCL head-to-head record favours Veszprem, but Belarusian champions will definitely have something to say in the penultimate group match of the season.

PPD Zagreb will continue the weekend in Champions League, as they host German champions Flensburg-Handewitt. Croatian champions recorded one of the most memorable victories in recent years, as they beat them in the previous encounter, earlier in the season- 31:29. With a win, PPD Zagreb would secure the place in the next stage of the competition, since they would have 12 points, exactly as much as Flensburg have now.

EHF Cup:

After two amazing wins to start the group phase of the EHF Cup, beating Tatabanya Grundfos and Hannover-Burgdorf, Nexe have their second home match, hosting Eurofarm Rabotnik. The Macedonians did not have as much luck as Nexe, since they lost both matches, which puts Nexe as a heavy favourite in this match. However, they will need to be careful, as Eurofarm Rabotnik are currently undefeated in their domestic championship after 14 rounds.
