Krok seals the deal as Tatran edge PPD Zagreb
Tatran Presov have on Tuesday evening in Croatian capital managed to edge PPD Zagreb 28:29 finishing SEHA season on a high note with a self-confidence boosting win over favored opponents.
PPD Zagreb started the match better with Bruno Butorac being the only one able to endanger them in opening 30 minutes. He was however able to keep Tatran close and as a result of that, scoreboard was after the first half saying 16:15. Hosts were in the second able to widen the gap to three on a few occasions but Tatran were persistent with Bruno Butorac, who finished the match with nine goals, leading them offensively. A little less than ten minutes before the final buzzer they managed to level the result at 23:23 eventually taking their first lead in this one at 25:26 over Ognjen Djeric. A bit over 30 seconds before the end Dominik Krok netted one to put Tatran up by one - 28:29 which ended up being the final result of this one.
With this outcome it is now clear PPD Zagreb will on SEHA Gazprom League Final four tournament face off against their national rivals NEXE Nasice and reigning champs Vardar Skopje will on the other hand square off versus tournament hosts Meshkov Brest.
