Pavel Horak to join THW Kiel, Tatran Presov sign Spanish winger
After two seasons with Meshkov Brest, Pavel Horak has signed a one-year contract with the German powerhouse THW Kiel, starting from next season. The Czech veteran joined Meshkov Brest in 2017 and appeared at two SEHA – Gazprom League Final 4 tournaments, winning a bronze medal this year in Brest. This season, the 36-year old was voted the best defensive specialist in both regular season and at the SEHA Final 4. In two seasons with Meshkov Brest, Horak recorded 36 goals and 26 assists in 22 appearances in SEHA – Gazprom League. With Belarusian champions, he also played in the Last 16 of EHF Champions League twice. Before his spell in Belarus, Horak played for Goppingen, Füchse Berlin and Erlangen.
Tatran Presov have announced the signing of Spanish right winger arriving from La Rioja, 26-year-old Javier Munoz Cabezon. Cabezon, who has been a member of currently third-placed Liga ASOBAL team La Rioja for the last three seasons after arriving from Villa de Arranda will join Slovak champs in the summer.
Spaniard has this season scored 25 goals for his team in EHF Cup matches shining with 14 in total in two matches versus one of the strongest German sides Füchse Berlin.
