Sunday, May 5th, 19:00 MOL-Pick Szeged – Vardar
Nothing is concluded yet, as Pick Szeged will look to give their absolute all, to delete Vardar’s 8-goal lead into the match. The start of the match will be crucial, as it usually is in this kind of matches. The Hungarian champions have not lost at home the entire season. Teams like Flensburg, PSG, Veszprem and Nantes all had to admit losses in Szeged. The only teams to snatch a point versus Pick Szeged away? Skjern and PPD Zagreb!
The history in their head-to-head matches is also on Vardar’s side. The last three encounters in Hungary resulted in one draw and two wins for the SEHA – Gazprom League champions. But, this match is going to be entirely different for Parrondo and his team, knowing that Pick Szeged are likely to come out firing on all cylinders. We will see if another incredible night is possible, and will Vardar celebrate another journey to Cologne!
