Meshkov Brest defeated by SKA Minsk in the Cup final
After a dominant domestic season that saw Meshkov Brest become the champions of Belarus for the 11th time, the club was not able to secure the double crown. The rivals from the capital of Belarus celebrated with a result od 30:29 (12:14). The match was played in Mogilev, and it was very close until the very last ticks of the clock.
Former Meshkov Brest player, Dzmitry Nikulenkau was the best player for SKA Minsk, scoring 7 goals. For the team from Brest, Maksim Baranau scored 5 goals, Darko Djukic and Andrei Yurinok added 4 goals each. For Raul Alonso, it is not the match they wanted to lose, but they will still finish the season with another title in the domestic championship and with a bronze medal from the SEHA Final 4.
