One day before the start of the EHF Champions League Final 4 in Cologne, the All-star team for the 2018/19 season was announced. The fans had a chance to vote for their favourites, as five players were nominated for each position.

Four Vardar players found their place in the All-Star team, and coach Roberto Garcia Parrondo got the nod for the best coach this season, taking Vardar to their third consecutive trip to Cologne, in his first season in charge. Dejan Milosavljev, who only joined Vardar this season, was picked as the best goalkeeper. Veterans Timur Dibirov and Ivan Cupic occupy the wing positions in the All-Star team, and the SEHA Final 4 MVP Dainis Kristopans got voted as the best right back.

This goes to show that Vardar have an army of fans behind them, which will hopefully be of massive help in the semi-final against Barca Lassa!
