Another participant of the SEHA – Gazprom League season 9 is now known as the SEHA leadership and Handball Club Motor Zaporozhye, Ukrainian champion and regular Champions League participant, entered into an agreement. Handball club Motor Zaporozhye from Ukraine will participate in the upcoming, ninth edition of the regional league. 

“We previously met in Vienna and arranged almost a full agreement for the cooperation of SEHA – Gazprom League and Motor Zaporozhye. This is a mutually beneficial deal, because SEHA League will have a team that regularly plays in the EHF Champions League and comes from a big country, Ukraine. This is also an excellent fit, because of the new competition system in which we will have two groups of six teams. This addition is good for handball, good for SEHA League and also for Motor Zaporozhye. We will work together next season and play in our League, which is becoming better and more prestigious every year”, said Mihajlo Mihajlovski, President of the SEHA – Gazprom League. 

“This is a new page in the book of history of our club. During several years, we have been negotiating about our participation in SEHA League, so we became a part of this big family. This is a League with strong outstanding opponents and this is a successful agreement, both for HC Motor and SEHA League. HC Motor is an ambitious club, and we also want to be a participant of Champions League Final 4. In order to develop we need to have an experience of matches with the best teams. I am sure we will receive this experience in the upcoming matches of SEHA League“, said Olimpy Pokatov, Chairman of HC Motor Zaporozhye.
