Welcome and goodbye: transfers recap
The upcoming, ninth season of the SEHA – Gazprom League will be different in many ways in comparison to the previous ones. Besides the new playing system and some new participants, this season is going to welcome some new faces as well as depart some of the familiar ones.
Vardar
Five-time SEHA-Gazprom League champion, Vardar, said goodbye to some of their key people. Head coach Roberto Garcia Parrondo is leaving Vardar and will lead the national team of Egypt and David Pisonero is going to fill his spot. Igor Karacic will continue his handball story in PGE Vive Kielce from Poland. Goodbye to the SEHA – Gazprom League will also say Dejan Milosavljev who is joining Fuchse Berlin, Janja Vojvodic who signed with Romanian' Minaur and Dmitrij Kiselev who is leaving for Chekhovskiye Medvedi. Gleb Kalarash will stay under the SEHA wings as he is joining Motor Zaporozhye. Rogerio Moraes and Vuko Borozan will depart to the SEHA-returnee, Telekom Veszprem. Pavel Atman, Sergey Gorpishin, and Arturs Kugis are some new faces that are joining Vardar and SEHA- Gazprom League.
Metalurg
Line player Adrian Milicevic is leaving SEHA- Gazprom League as he will departure for Maribor. Goodbye to the regional league also said Martin Tomovski, Martin Velkovski and Bojan Madjovski. After Danilo Brestovac left the head-coach position, it was decided that his replacement will be Damir Stojanovic.
Nexe
In the upcoming season, Nexe welcomes Zivan Pesic from Ademar Leon, Ivan Dumencic from Dubrava, Gianfranco Pribetic from Porec, Fran Mileta from Rudan Labin and Tomislav Severec from Umag. Goodbye to the Croatian vice-champions said Marin Sipic who will play for PPD Zagreb and Patrik Leban is going to Celje Pivovarna Lasko from Slovenia.
PPD Zagreb
After five seasons in Zagreb, Leon Susnja decided it was time to continue his career in Wisla Plock. The other Zagreb' line player, Tin Kontrec, will join VfL Gummerscbach from Germany. Nikola Potic signed a contract with Lubeck, Senjamin Buric is joining Nantes and Urh Kastelic will be a part of the Frisch Auf Goppingen. Zagreb also welcomed Matej Asanin from Ludwigshafen, Darko Stojnic from Gorenje Velenje and Kristian Beciri from Celje Pivovarna Lasko.
Tatran Presov
Even though the only player that left the Slovakian club was Bruno Butorac, Tatran brought some new faces. Josef Hozman and David Michalka from HG Agro Topolcany will join in the following season as well as Javier Munoz Cabezon from La Rioja.
Meshkov Brest
Belarusian champion, Meshkov Brest, will greet Nemanja Obradovic from Wisla Plock and Daniel Andreev, 20-year-old line player. One of the biggest name on the welcome list is French star William Accambray who left Celje. Other reinforcements for Meshkov are Jaka Malus, also from Celje, Nikita Vailupau from SKA Minsk, and Branko Kankaras from Istres. Petar Djordjic will no longer be a part of the Belarusian team as he jwill join Benfica. Sime Ivic left for Erlangen, Vid Poteko will join Celje and Pavel Horak will come to THW Kiel. Raul Alonso will be the new head coach as Manolo Cadenas will lead Ademar Leone.
Izvidjac
Vasilije Kaludjerovic decided to part ways with club from Ljubuski. He will join Eskilstuna GUIF from Sweden. Josip Kvesic will be a part of the TV Willstatt in the upcoming season while Josip Cutura will move to HSG Krefeld.
