Rastko Stojkovic, former Meshkov Brest player, decided to end his playing career. After many amazing years on the court, it was time to put the handball shoes on the wedge.

The amazing thirty-eight year old line player spent five incredible seasons on the SEHA court. In 77 appearances, he managed to score 339 goals. Not only that, he was a part of the SEHA Final 4 All Star team for three years in a row, from 2014 to 2016. Even after he left Meshkov Brest and stared playing outside of the SEHA - Gazprom League, he is still to this day one of the best scorers of the SEHA Final 4 tournaments, with 56 goals. 

Besides playing for the Belarusian champions, Stojkovic also played for Serbian Crvena Zvezda, Polish PGE Vive Kielce and German HSG Nordhorn-Lingenfrom earlier in his career. Alongside his club career, Stojkovic also had amazing career on the domestic court. He is one of the key players when it comes to the Serbian national team as he won the silver medal at the EHF EURO in 2012. The last stop on his playing path was the Israeli team Maccabi Rishon LeZion.  

Not only was he an amazing scorer, Stojkovic was an even better team player and leader. With every new appearance on the court, he was showing what handball really is all about. His contribution to the handball world and the teams he was a part of is endless.

Now, as he is finding a new path for himself,  we can only wish him a successful career outside of the court as the one he had on the court. Farewell to our Superman, amazing  player and outstanding role model!
