Record-breaking match for youngster Mikita Vailupau
One of Meshkov Brest's brightest stars, incredible Mikita Vailupau won't remember the 4th round match against Metaloplastika because of the end-result. Even though his team did not manage to secure points in Sabac, this twenty-four years old right wing will remember that night because he set an unbelievable record. In just 60 minutes on the court, Vailupau scored breathtaking 20 goals which is the highest number of goals that one player scored during a match. With such an amazing scoring rate, this handball magician set a new record in the SEHA – Gazprom League.
Before that clash, Telekom Veszprem's player Dejan Manaskov alongside Radoslav Antl that used to play for Tatran Presov were the records holders with number of 17 goals that each of them scored in one match. Manaskov scored those goals while he was a part of Vardar's squad.
These days the SEHA court is witnessing some amazing moments and incredible results. We are looking forward to fresh adventures and new records!
