Transfer Tuesday: Lovro Jotic is officially painted in Red&Black!
Two immense handball proven talents are arriving in Skopje. With two new reinforcements, Tomislav Jagurinovski and Lovro Jotic, who played in the Eurofarm Pelister's jersey this season, Vardar completed their roster for the new 2020/21 season.
Although the admirable centre back Jotic was in the plans of Portuguese Benfica, Croatian international will not go much further from Bitola, as Vardar will be his third SEHA club. Before this season's adventure in Bitola, Jotic played SEHA in his hometown for PPD Zagreb in seasons 2016/17 and 2018/19. In addition to the mentioned clubs, he was also part of a Croatian clubs Umag, Zamet and Dubrava, as well as Danish Aalborg.
His performances in the SEHA League did not go unnoticed, since he has scored 96 goals and made 51 assists in 41 SEHA appearances.
A 25-year-old is also an occasional member of the Croatian national team. Last time he was proving himself in the national team's jersey was in the second phase of the 2019 World Championship in Germany and Denmark. He is the fourth Croatian at the Skopje's address, as he will share the locker room with Ivan Cupic, Ante Gadza and Josip Vekic.
Lovro will, that way, have another opportunity to work with Stevche Alushovski, his former coach from Bitola.
There's no doubt that Vardar and Jotic have great things in store in sync. Considering, we are wishing them good luck in the future!
