Tatran secure win over Eurofarm despite Peric' masterclass performance
Tatran Presov have on Saturday evening managed to take revenge for a tough defeat they suffered earlier in the season away from home against Eurofarm Pelister this time celebrating with 32:28.
In a clash between two former Croatian national team coaches, hosts entered the match well playing great on the offensive side of the court scoring 16 goals in the first half led by experienced back Oliver Rabek and young Pedro Pacheco. Guests however refused to give up before the final whistle not allowing Tatran Presov to widen the gap and seal the deal in this one. Gradimir Chanevski had a day with eight saves while Josip Peric delivered an absolute masterclass in attack scoring incredible ten goals to go along with nine assists in what was one of the best individual performances in SEHA - Gazprom League history. Stipe Mandalinic added seven goals while Elmir Gradjan scored four.
In the end 32:28 for Tatran Presov in a match in which Oliver Rabek and Pedro Pacheco led them with seven goals each. Tatran have with this win sealed at least third position in Group A after the regular part of the season which means Metaloplastika will finish on bottom of the group.
