Telekom Veszprem inches away from Cologne before the trip to Denmark
A week ahead of us is bringing us the excitements of second leg encounters of EHF Champions League quarter-finals. And although Danish Aalborg will be in our main focus, it’s time for our weekly preview so let’s get into it!
After a decisive 36:29 win, reigning SEHA – Gazprom League champions Telekom Veszprem will on Thursday look to seal the deal and book a spot for themselves in Cologne. Coach Ilic and his guys did a great job in front of their fans in Hungary but they will have to be extra careful in Denmark as well with Aalborg definitely being a team capable of punishing every mistake opponent makes.
In other matches Kielce will look to deliver another good performance and reach a win at home after a three-goal win in Montpellier and Barca will basically try to do the same versus Flensburg. Apart from the one in Denmark, the most interesting match will definitely be the one in Kiel with PSG coming to visit after a 30:30 draw in the French capital.
Hajra Veszprem!
