A new week of European challenges is ahead of some of our SEHA - Gazprom League representative clubs so, without further ado, let’s get into our traditional weekly preview!
 
Maschineseeker EHF Champions League
 
PPD Zagreb will on Wednesday in Varazdin welcome Polish Orlen Wisla Plock. Ivica Obrvan and his guys will be looking for another win against a team that already has four points and is led by former PPD Zagreb players Tin Lucin, Leon Susnja, and Lovro Mihic. The match is scheduled for Wednesday (18.45 CEST). 
 
Leaders of EHF Champions League Group A - Telekom Veszprem, will on Thursday (18.45 CEST) play recently crowned world club champions – German Magedburg. Reigning SEHA - Gazprom League champions led by coach Momir Ilic are having a really good season so far and a win over a team like Magdeburg, in front of their incredible supporters, on Thursday would surely solidify their aspirations to finally go all the way in Europe’s elite club competition.

EHF European League
 
Tuesday marks the beginning of this season’s EHF European League group stage and SEHA - Gazprom League will have three of its representative teams there. Nexe – last season’s semi-finalists, will start their campaign in Denmark against Skjern (18.45 CEST). Despite of no longer having their last season’s key player Halil Jaganjac on the roster, coach Branko Tamse and his players will indeed be looking to start it all off in the right manner and with a positive result in Denmark. 
 
After having their rookie SEHA - Gazprom League Final 4 appearance in Zadar about two months ago, Eurofarm Pelister will now, in the first round host Danish Skandeborg Aarhus. Eurofarm already proved to be ready to make an additional step forward this season – they have both the roster and willingness to pull it off. Opening the season in the right way means a lot and coach Lars Walther is surely well aware of that ahead of the match scheduled for Tuesday, 20.45 CEST. 
 
Finally, Tatran Presov is on Tuesday, 20.45 CEST, welcoming last season’s EHF EL champions – Portuguese Benfica. In a match in which they will have an underdog role, Slovak champions will surely look to deliver the best possible performance and see how far it gets them against a team that once again has everything needed to go all the way.
