Eurofarm Pelister against Aguas Santas Milaneza, Veszprem aiming to get back on winning tracks
Another week of European challenges for our SEHA - Gazprom League representative teams is ahead which means it is time for our traditional weekly preview. Let’s get into it!
Maschineseeker EHF Champions League
After a draw against Wisla Plock last week, PPD Zagreb will on Wednesday (18.45 CET) aim for the win against Romanian representatives in the competition – Dinamo Bucuresti. A win over Dinamo would significantly boost the chances for Ivica Obrvan and his guys to qualify for the knock-out stage of the competition. PPD Zagreb already proved to be a tough team to beat at home this season coming out on top against Porto and securing a draw versus Wisla. Dinamo has a quality roster full of experienced internationals which means a great one is ahead of us.
A day later, Telekom Veszprem will travel to Poland to meet Orlen Wisla Plock. Momir Ilic and his players secured a home draw against recently-crowned world club champions – German Magdeburg in the last round once again proving they this season have a team capable of going all the way. However, they are aware that, to pull that off, they have to go for a win every time they are out there and the match in Plock will be no different.
